01 — WHAT THIS SITE IS

This is a personal portfolio — a static site built with Astro and served from GitHub Pages. There is no backend, no database, no accounts and no forms. When you load a page, GitHub Pages (the host) may record standard server logs such as your IP address and browser type; that logging is governed by GitHub's privacy statement, not by me.

02 — ANALYTICS (ONLY IF YOU SAY YES)

I use Google Analytics 4 (property G-X8L7GJY3D8) to see roughly how many people visit and which sections they read. The Google Analytics script does not even load unless you press ACCEPT on the cookie banner — until then your browser makes no requests to Google at all, cookieless or otherwise. If you decline (or just ignore the banner), nothing is loaded and nothing is sent.

If you accept, Google Analytics collects approximate location (city-level, from IP), device and browser type, pages viewed and time on page. I see aggregated statistics only — nothing that identifies you personally. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

03 — WHAT LIVES IN YOUR BROWSER

The site keeps a few things in your browser's localStorage. All of it stays on your device — it is never transmitted anywhere:

04 — WHAT I DON'T DO

No advertising, no ad cookies, no fingerprinting, no social-media pixels, no selling or sharing of data, no other tracking of any kind. The sound effects are synthesized in your browser — nothing is fetched, and nothing about you is recorded when they play.
